THE INSPIRATION – THE K.U.K. INFANTRY REGIMENT NO. 59

Our watch IR59 was named after the k.u.k. Infantry Regiment “Erzherzog Rainer – Archduke Rainer” No 59. The regiment existed from 1682 until the collapse of the monarchy in 1918 and had battalions in Salzburg, Innsbruck, Schwaz and Bregenz.
